Check out our new beeswax cubes!

Happy Fall!  We just plain love this time of year.  The temperature starts to change, nights get a little longer, and we hit the road.  We love the fall show season and have a few stops planned.  Before we hit the road, we made some changes.

First, we’ve changed our store hours.  Not by much, but we think you’ll like it. Come see us from 10 am until 6 pm Tuesday through Friday and 9-3 on Saturday.  We’re closed on Sundays and Mondays.

We’re adding new products to the inventory.  New coconut milk vegan soaps are coming and new beeswax cubes are in the works.  Everyl-Ann made her first batch this past weekend while running the shop. In addition, keep your eyes open for the 2013 line of fall and holiday scented soaps and wax cubes.

Finally, we’ve tweaked our show schedule a bit.  Our first stop is in Hammond this weekend.  On Friday, September 27, join us at the 2013 Brews Arts Festival.  This one is strictly for the 21 and over crowd.  From 5-9 pm enjoy music, arts and crafts from local and regional artists, live demonstrations, food by Kevin Cote, fresh homemade sangria, and an extensive selection of beer.  Tickets are $20 per person in advance or $25  at the door.  Get your advance tickets from the Hammond Arts Center during regular gallery hours, by phone at 985-542-7113, or online.  Hope to see you on Friday behind the Arts Center in the Morrison Alley parking lot.

What are you doing on St. Patrick’s Weekend? We’ll be in Humble, Texas at the Humble Trade Days. The Humble Civic Center/Arena Complex will be full of vendors offering collectibles, food, antiques, and crafts. This family-friendly event has free admission and parking. Come see us under a covered pavilion at 8301 Will Clayton Parkway from 1 pm – 7 pm Friday, 8 am – pm Saturday, and 10 am – 4 pm on Sunday, March 18. Don’t forget to wear your green!

We loved Oak Alley Plantation and are so excited about our return trip! This amazing plantation was featured on Travel Channel and is more
