Give All Things Lavender for Mother’s Day

2013_Mother_s_Day_Sale_1

We love our mothers.  They nurture, teach, and cheer us on.  They are our chauffeurs, nurses, doctors, chefs, and police when needed.  Their work really is never done, and Mother’s Day is just one of the days they should be recognized.  For Mother’s Day, we’re taking 20% off our lavender items.  Why lavender?  It promotes relaxation and mom can always use a break, even if just for a few minutes.

On sale are:

Each of these items is 20% off their regular prices from Tuesday, May 7 until Saturday, May 11.  Mix and match to create the perfect collection for mom, grandma, auntie, sister, or the other mother figure in your life.  And don’t forget to enter our Mother’s Day Giveaway for a deserving mother figure.

March Madness at Noir Naturals

When you hear March Madness, college basketball comes to mind, but that’s not what we’re talking

We loved our last visit to Oak Alley Plantation and look forward to seeing these tour guides again.

about.  We have so much happening this March that it might just make us a little mad.

We are so excited about our travel schedule this month!  Not only are we making return trips to two of our favorite places, we’re adding another stop to kick off the month.  Join us this weekend in Pass Christian, MS at the Flea Market at Menge.  This market is the largest outdoor market on the Gulf Coast and was featured on Junkin’ with Val and Dave.  Rain or shine, we’ll be there from 8 am until 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday – we cannot wait!

If this weekend is bad for you, come see us at Oak Alley Plantation in Vacherie, LA on March 16th and 17th.  We love going back to Oak Alley and love the history.  And those Oaks! There’s something for everyone at Oak Alley, including ghosts according to some.

Speaking of return trips, we’re going back to Houma, LA on March 23.  Look for us at the Southdown Marketplace Arts and Crafts Festival.  This one day show features music, food, and a wide assortment of vendors ready to show you what they’ve got.  The plantation and museum will be open, too. Admission is just $5 with children under 12 free.  Rain or shine, we’ll be there from 8 am until 4 pm.

What else does March have in store?  Soap news!  Stay tuned for more information on a new feature we know you’ll love.  Soap news not enough?  Hair care products are also on the way.  We heard your

As 2012 came to a close, my wife and I looked back at the year Noir Naturals had.  I could not be happier.  Noir Naturals continues to grow and I owe it all to you, our customers, fans, followers and well wishers.  As you know my health was a challenge last year, but thanks to the great team of folks that I work with, we were able to keep things moving forward.  To all the folks that make Noir Naturals run well everyday, I thank you for all your contributions and dedication!

As we review our business plans for 2013 I am excited because of what we have in store.  If you have not seen our 2013 Resolutions please click here to view them.  We have incorporated feedback from you into our resolutions, and I believe we are set up for an even better year.  We always appreciate all of your comments and feedback, so please keep them coming.

Throughout the last few years many of you have asked and encouraged us to secure a fixed location on the Northshore and/or Southshore (in Louisiana), where you can come by to shop in between shows.  We are working to make this happen, and will have more information as the year progresses.

To this end I wish you God’s blessings for 2013, and look forward to seeing and/or hearing from all of you again this year.

Charles

2013 in Full Swing

Hard to believe a year has come and gone, eh?

We’re back to the daily grind here at Noir Naturals and we started the year by setting goals. Like a lot of people, we make resolutions, goals, or whatever you call them at the start of the year after reflecting on the past year.

New_Year_s_Resolutions_3In 2013, we plan to
  • Keep customer service a priority.
  • See more of you in person this year (that’s right, we’ll still hit the road often)
  • Increase product testing opportunities.  We love hearing from you at all levels of product development and would love to hear your input from the beginning.
  • Introduce new product lines  and new scents. Stay tuned for more info.
  • Offer more opportunities for you to save.  Keep your eyes open for coupons and programs!
Those are some of our goals.  What are some of yours?
To learn more about what we’re up to and when, follow us on Facebook, Twitter, or G+. To learn more about our current products and opportunities, visit Noir Naturals at NoirNaturals.com.

It’s Double-Duty Weekend: NOLA and Baton Rouge Bound!

November is one of Noir Natural’s busiest months.   We travel all over the south for shows, but there is nothing like coming home.

Baton Rouge and NOLA this weekend? Yes! Come see us at the Helen Brett Show, Broadmoor Arts & Crafts Show, or both!

And this weekend, we’re coming home and doing double-duty.  We’ll back in Louisiana for an extended weekend of shows.  NOLA and Baton Rouge, baby!  Join us starting Thursday, November 15 through Sunday, November 19.

On Thursday we’ll be in New Orleans for the Helen Brett International Jewelry and Gift Show at the Morial Convention Center.  We love this one because we get to see so many people at this four day show.  And being back home makes us happy, too.  This is an industry show, but is also open to the public. Qualified buyers get in free — store owners, owner’s spouses, and employees, that means you.  On Friday, attendees can purchase up to two guest badges for $20 each.  No one under the age of 16 is permitted at this one.  Specialty arts, crafts, jewelry, apparel and accessories, artwork, and gourmet food are among the offered items from hundreds of vendors.   The show takes over  Halls H-J in the convention center and we’ll be in booth 1505.  The show runs from Thursday through Sunday.  On Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, drop by anytime from Saturday 10 am – 6 pm.  On Sunday, join us from 10 am – 5 pm.  We hope to see you at 900 Convention Center Boulevard!

If you’re not up for a drive to NOLA, how does Baton Rouge grab you?  Join us in sharing Buccaneer Pride at the Broadmoor Arts & Craft Festival at Broadmoor High School. Proceeds from this show helps the Bucs cover equipment costs, trips for the band and choir, and teacher workshop costs.  Help the school and find what you
seek from the 250 artisans from seven states.  Join us on Friday, November 16th from 3 pm to 9 pm and Saturday from 9 am – 4 pm.  Admission is just $3 and shuttle buses
will run from Broadmoor Shopping Center and Broadmoor Middle School.  This is the 39th annual festival and our second time here.  We’ve been looking forward to this one all year!

As always, we’ll have an assortment of vegan coconut milk and goat’s milk soapslotionsanti-aging body buttersDead Sea Saltbody scrubsbath treatments, and maskssoy wax cubes and wax warmers, our new lip balms, and more at both shows.  And don’t forget the show special:  buy and three items and get a fourth of equal or lesser value for free.

We haven’t done double-duty in a while.  We’re not scared; we’re excited!
